Dr. Ivette Espinosa-Fernandez, DO, FACOP
Owner, Founder, Chief Medical Director
Ivette Espinosa Fernandez DO, FACOP is board-certified in pediatric medicine from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. In addition, she has an undergraduate dual degree in microbiology/immunology and Psychology from the University of Miami.
Dr. Espinosa founded Advice For Optimal Wellness in 2018 following a diagnosis of breast cancer at the age of 40. As an osteopath she learned how to use Functional Medicine to further analyze the root cause of disease and the innate ability of the body to heal itself. Dr. Espinosa began a research team in 2019 and the search for holistic approaches to gastrointestinal disorders, dermatology, autoimmune disease and cancer prevention. She has been a principal investigator to over 20 trials and continues ongoing efforts for improved therapeutics.
Dr. Espinosa is an associate professor at the Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine. She holds privileges at Baptist Hospital health systems And Nicklaus Children’s Hospital where she has practiced emergency medicine for over 20 years. She lectures on a variety of topics including women’s health and breast cancer prevention, nutrition assessment, functional medicine with functional nutrition, insulin resistance, heart health, weight control and allergies. Through her practice and lecturing, she has helped thousands of people achieve their goals of optimum health and wellness. She lead the development of a Covid antioxidant IV during the pandemic assisting hundreds of people from hospitalization. She continues her combat with long-haul Covid through research and maintains one of the few long-haul Covid clinics in South Florida.
Dr. Espinosa is a Medical Director to several underprivileged area clinics as well as the Medical Director of the Aesthetics division of Advice For Wellness.

Co-Founder
Luis Fernandez is the Co-Founder of Advice For Optimal Wellness. Mr. Fernandez has applied his experience to provide a unique approach for the benefit of all patients at our medical practice. He and his wife, Dr. Ivette Espinosa-Fernandez, of more than 20 years, have led a life of service and developed Advice For Wellness dedicated to functional and integrative medicine for wellness and long term health for all of their patients needs.

Dominique Farinas
Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner
Dominique is a Family Nurse Practitioner who graduated summa cum laude from Florida International University. She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners and Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society. She has 8+ years as a Registered Nurse and over 6 years’ experience as a Nurse Practitioner specializing in Botox, Fillers, Microneedling with PRP, Hair Loss Restoration, Emsculpt, and many other aesthetic treatments.
Dominique loves helping her clients reach their personalized aesthetic goals by educating them on all the available treatments. She believes each individual is beautiful in their own way and for that she strives to provide the highest quality of aesthetic care to enhance beauty, help boost self-confidence, and improve quality of life for each of her patients.
In Dominique’s spare time, she is a devoted wife and a mother to three wonderful children. She also enjoys traveling and loves cooking with her family.
